Welcome to Casa Campestre and Cafe Campestre, Ometepe’s organic tropical farm and guesthouse. We have campsite , cabaña and guesthouse accomodation and private lake access with spectacular views and wildlife on the beautiful tree fringed shore. There you can experience howler monkeys while swimming in the lake with uninterrupted views of Ometepe's 2 volcano's - Maderas and Conception (the smoking giant just a short eruption away!)
From Casa Campestre or Cafe Campestre you can hike to the crater lake of Volcano Maderas and experience the cloud forest and incredible ancient Petroglyphs, all just a few minutes from our farm and guesthouse.
Or if hikings not your thing then maybe just relax on the farm and enjoy the tranquility before making your lunch or dinner from our kitchen gardens and farm produce or, instead, eat at our Cafe in Balgue.
